What’s included
- Wi-Fi installation: access points placed where people actually work, not just where the router happens to sit.
- Wi-Fi optimization: a fixed-price tune-up for slow or spotty networks: channel and placement fixes, settings cleanup and dead-spot checks.
- Router and firewall setup: a business-grade router or firewall configured with strong passwords, current firmware and sensible rules.
- Separate networks: staff, guest and device networks (printers, cameras, point-of-sale) kept apart so one problem or one visitor doesn’t touch the rest.
- Wired network improvements: where Wi-Fi isn’t enough, we add wired connections for desks, registers, cameras and access points. See our network cabling page.
- Documentation: we leave you the network name, equipment list and admin details in plain language, so you aren’t locked out of your own network.
Wi-Fi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is different
Gulfport and Biloxi buildings put real obstacles between you and a signal. Older concrete-block shops, brick storefronts, metal-framed warehouses near the Port of Gulfport, and long, narrow restaurant and casino-district layouts all eat Wi-Fi. Outdoor patios, courtyards and detached garages on Beach Boulevard and Pass Road properties are hard to cover from one router.
The climate adds to it. Salt air corrodes cheap connectors and outdoor gear, summer heat shortens the life of equipment in attics and closets, and hurricane season (June through November) means power surges and outages. For Gulf Coast jobs we choose equipment and locations with that in mind, recommend surge protection, and can add battery backup so your router and modem ride out a short outage. We’ll tell you plainly what is worth paying for at your site.
We set up networks for the kinds of places that fill Biloxi and Gulfport: restaurants and bars, hotels and short-term rentals, medical and dental offices, retail shops, marine and service businesses, churches and home offices. Military and contractor households near Keesler AFB and the Seabee base also work from home networks, so we help with secure home-office setups. We have no affiliation with either base.

Wi-Fi installation FAQ
How much does Wi-Fi installation cost in Biloxi and Gulfport?
Wi-Fi optimization for an existing network is $250, and router or firewall setup starts at $250. Multi-access-point installs and projects that need cabling are quoted after a site visit. A service call or diagnostic is $150.
Why is the Wi-Fi weak in part of my building?
Usually it is one router trying to cover too much space through walls, or a poor channel and placement choice. Concrete block, brick and metal framing weaken signal. Moving or adding an access point, often with a wired connection back to the router, normally fixes it.
Should my business have a separate guest network?
Yes. A guest network keeps customers and visitors off the network that holds your computers, printers and payment equipment. We set up separate staff, guest and device networks.
Do you set up Wi-Fi for homes and home offices?
Yes. We work on home networks, home offices and short-term rentals as well as businesses.
Can Wi-Fi survive hurricane season?
Equipment can’t stop a storm, but surge protection and battery backup can keep your router and modem safe through brief outages and power surges, and a documented setup makes recovery faster. We can recommend what fits your site.
