228NetOps (“we”, “us”) is a veteran-owned IT, DJ, solar and smart-lighting business on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This policy explains what information we handle through our website, 228netops.com, and through our social media publishing tools.
Information you give us
If you call, text, or contact us through our website or social media, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, and a description of what you need. We use it only to respond to you and provide the service you asked about. We do not sell it.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our site and its hosting provider may record basic technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) and may use cookies to keep the site working. This data is used to run and secure the site.
Affiliate links
Some pages and posts contain affiliate links, including Amazon and VEVOR links. If you click one, the retailer may use cookies to credit us for a qualifying purchase. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Retailers handle any purchase under their own privacy policies.
Our social media publishing tool (TikTok and others)
We use a private, internal tool to publish our own videos to the 228NetOps accounts on TikTok and other platforms. When the 228NetOps account owner connects TikTok, the tool receives access tokens and basic profile information (such as display name) for that one account only, so it can upload and publish our own content. It does not access, collect, or store information about other TikTok users. Tokens are stored privately on our own computer and are never shared or sold. The account owner can revoke access at any time in TikTok’s settings.
YouTube API Services
Our internal publishing tool also uses YouTube API Services to upload and schedule our own videos on the 228NetOps YouTube channel. It is used only by the 228NetOps account owner. When the owner authorizes it, the tool receives OAuth access tokens for that one Google account and reads basic channel information (channel ID and name) to confirm it is posting to the right channel. It does not collect, store or share data about any other YouTube user or viewer. Tokens are stored privately on our own computer and are never shared or sold.
By using our YouTube content you are also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The account owner can revoke the tool’s access at any time from the Google security settings page.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only when needed to provide a service you asked for, or when required by law.
